Consultant Intelligence Map
Purpose
Institutional distribution runs through consultants. The practical question is not whether to call on them. It is which office, which pod, and which relationship has the highest probability of productive dialogue.
Architecture
A mapped knowledge system covering seven major consulting firms:
- Consultant profiles with provenance-tracked evidence
- Client and coverage-pod pages
- Interactive network-graph dashboards
- CRM-history study over 86,000 rows of internal relationship data
What the data showed
The CRM analysis quantified relationship aging and channel white space: where the firm had historical contact but thin recent coverage, and where consultant pods aligned with product strengths.
Strategic value
This is the distribution-side counterpart to manager-universe research. One pipeline studies competitive manager dynamics. The other maps who in the consultant channel is most likely to care about a given finding.
Together they support targeted outreach rather than undifferentiated coverage.
